The door at the gym would let anybody off the streets get into the gym. I thought this was very unsafe, especially if my wife was going to join ( that was the plan). People would walk in the gym and I called the manger (Debbie). She was very rude and assumed I let people in the gym. I didn't, but she wouldn't peacefully listen to me to tell here that the door isn't working properly.

Also, I was at the gym another time and a member couldn't get in the door. I told him I couldn't let him in, even if the door isn't working properly. I did tell him that if he calls the manger or owner and they say I can let him, I would do so. In short, the manager (Debbie) yelled at me on the phone and rudely told me to let him in. She acted like I was wasting her time. I was only helping one of their members.

She treated me so rudely that I didn't want anything to do with the gym. Later, I went to the gym and Debbie was there. She didn't have anytime for me since I was requesting a refund. She also instructed me not to speak in my normal voice because she didn't want anybody to hear the conversation. I was speaking quietly and politely. At that point, I felt this was improper behavior on her part. Further, her true colors were showing. She is only concerned with selling memberships and customer service comes second.

I asked for a refund and I was told that the owner will call me and grant one. I never heard back. I waited over a week and I called the owner. The owner Bill Hancock was rude and acted like I was a burden of his time. Again, this speaks volume of customer service.

I don't think this gym will make it in Mt, Juliet, TN. with customer service like this. There is too much competition for poor service. Plus, I have been around a lot of gyms and personal trainers - to know a good quality place. This is not one of them. They might be able to fool the consumer just getting started in "working out" but they will not fool them long.

This gym is small, unsafe, staff is rude, and owner is rude too.

Monetary Loss: $100.

Location: Mount Juliet, Tennessee

There is another gym I go to with the same problem. There is this tension towards me as a consumer.

Thinking its time to find a new gym.

No matter what I do or how I smile and ask questions its like they respond with rudeness. ***, even asking a simple qualification about diet intake and was told to basically pay up to get the knowledge.
